The future of reporting on ratified Conventions

The future of reporting aims to streamline the reporting system under article 22 of the ILO Constitution through a thematic approach, while ensuring effective and meaningful supervision. It seeks to modernize reporting processes in order to facilitate Member States’ engagement and promote peer learning, notably by improving access to information on compliant national laws, regulations and policies. It follows the decision of the ILO Governing Body in November 2025, to adopt a major modernization of the reporting system.

This page provides key information on the main changes introduced and on reporting obligations going forward. It will be updated regularly as progress is made in the implementation of the new system.
