If there's one sport guaranteed to loosen stiff joints and speed up rusty reflexes, while letting you have great fun, it's table tennis.
Whether you're a complete beginner or a champion eager for top-level competition, the ILO TABLE TENNIS CLUB is waiting for you.
Founded in 1977, the club merged with the Meyrin TT Club in 1993 for the purposes of league competition. This means you can play either on ILO premises (in the R1 fitness centre) or in Meyrin, provided you become a member of that club too. Our trophy cabinet on R1 is testament to the great opportunities available to competition players. But the club remains open to all, including beginners and youth players (Meyrin TTC also offers lessons).
The ILO Table Tennis Club means... a friendly, sporting atmosphere, a variety of players of all nationalities (as well as retired officials of the ILO and other international organizations, and family members). Don't delay - join us today! Bi-annual membership is just 30 Swiss francs.
The staff lounge on R1 is available to the ILO table tennis club every
- Tuesday from 5 to 6 p.m.,
- Thursday from 5 to 6 p.m.; and
- Friday from 5 to 6 p.m.
Room R1-130 is also available exclusively to the club, if the main room of the staff lounge is not available or outside the above time slots.
