Fundamental principles and rights at work at a critical crossroads

A recurrent discussion on the strategic objective of fundamental principles and rights at work

In the revised version of 15 May, the following corrections have been made:

  • in paragraphs 33 and 50, to update estimates in light of most recent ILO publications
  • in paragraph 42 and footnote 106, to replace the term “unemployment gaps” by “jobs gaps”
  • in paragraph 72 and footnotes 233 and 234, to take into account the latest developments in legislation
  • in paragraph 96, to reflect more accurately the Office’s work on HIV and AIDS in the period under review
  • in paragraph 127, to replace “diverse forms of work” by “changing work arrangements”.
