Peru

Peru has been a member of the ILO since 1919. The country has ratified 77 Conventions and one Protocol, of which 64 are currently in force, including eight of the ten fundamental Conventions.

The ILO team in Peru contributes to the promotion of decent work and social justice through technical assistance activities with the country's tripartite partners: government, employers' and workers' organizations.

ILO actions in Peru are coordinated from the ILO Office for the Andean Countries.
