Labour Forum - "Future of work: The Choice of Viet Nam"

27 November - Hanoi

As part of the ILO Centenary year, the ILO, the tripartite partners (government, worker's and employer's organizations) and other key stakeholders will gather in Hanoi to assess achievements, discuss challenges and brainstorm on a range of policy solutions leading to the future of work the country wants to achieve.

The Forum has two objectives:
  • Discuss opportunities and challenges affecting Viet Nam’s world of work on the way towards upper middle-income country status, and in the context of global drivers of change influencing economies and societies across the world;
  • Offer policy-makers, representatives of the Government, workers and employers an opportunity to brainstorm priorities and policy solutions that may be considered in the context of the 2021-30 Social and Economic Development Strategy.
