Mapping report on the Textile, Clothing, Leather and Footwear Sector in Albania

In collaboration with IndustriALL, the ILO prepared a comprehensive “Mapping report on the textile, clothing, leather, and footwear sector in Albania”, providing up-to-date analyses of the current activities, production figures, trade flows, details on the global supply chain (identifying global brands, retailers, and their intermediaries), wages, employment, working conditions and the quality of social dialogue. The report identifies the main sector policies and standing issues that need to be addressed with corresponding policy intervention proposals to improve the sector competitiveness of (Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises (MSMEs) and their expansion in EU and other external markets. This report serves as a basis for a social dialogue at the sectoral level.
