Rwanda has been a member of the International Labour Organization since 1962. Today, the helps promote social justice and internationally recognized human and labour rights, through a decent work agenda in the country. ILO activities in Rwanda are coordinated by the ILO Country Office for the United Republic of Tanzania, Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda, based in Dar es Salaam.
