A half-day national tripartite forum

Responsible business conduct and operationalizing human rights due diligence in Indonesia

The forum will showcase the project's four core pillars of achievement: policy commitment, targeted research, practical guidance toolkits, and sustainable capacity building.

Businesses play a crucial role in the economy, with responsible business conduct (RBC) being essential for sustainability. The Resilient, Inclusive and Sustainable Supply Chains Asia (RISSC) Project, funded by Japan and led by the ILO, responds to global disruptions, aiming to enhance supply chain resilience and address human rights risks over its three-year duration (2022-2025).

A national forum will showcase the project's outcomes, grounded in the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the ILO Tripartite Declaration of Principles concerning Multinational Enterprises and Social Policy (MNE Declaration), launching deliverables such as research reports and toolkits.

Objectives include public endorsement of Business and Human Rights commitments, facilitating high-level dialogues on policy and due diligence challenges, and strengthening the RBC community.
