Meeting of the Just Energy Transition Community of Practice

This Community of Practice (CoP) brings together policymakers, workers, employers, academia, and civil society to share knowledge and solutions for a Just Energy Transition. As part of the IKI-JET project, the ILO, in collaboration with UNOPS’ Energy Transition Partnership (ETP), will hold a two-day event in Jakarta, Indonesia, to consolidate the CoP with participants from different countries across the Asia-Pacific region. Participants will be encouraged to share their success stories and lessons learned, and to disseminate just transition tools. The event will feature a series of sessions exploring regional contexts, capacity building, social dialogue, policy frameworks, and financing mechanisms to ensure a fair, inclusive shift from coal to a low-carbon economy.
