Meeting on Follow-up on Outdated Conventions

At its 354th Session, the Governing Body decided to postpone the tenth meeting of the Standards Review Mechanism Tripartite Working Group (SRM TWG), originally scheduled for 15–19 September 2025, to 14–18 September 2026. The Governing Body requested the Office to organize a meeting of the SRM TWG Chairperson, the two Vice-Chairpersons and, on an exceptional basis, the SRM TWG Government Group Coordinator to consider, identify or develop possible follow-up measures in respect of Conventions classified as outdated, in particular when they still have a high rate of ratification. This Meeting on Follow-up on Outdated Conventions will be held from 5 to 6 February 2026.

The result of the deliberations during the Meeting will be reported to the 356th Session (March 2026) of the Governing Body and to the tenth meeting of the SRM TWG for their consideration.
