The economic crisis in Sri Lanka hit rural livelihoods hard. ILO's LEED+ project is supporting work and incomes for farmers in the Northern Province of Sri Lanka. The short-term employment in infrastructure developments are not only providing an income stream but also ensuring that vulnerable members of the farming community can continue their agriculture activities in the next season.
