The ILO works to advance decent work and social justice across a range of thematic areas through the social and solidarity economy (SSE). Key priorities include tackling child labour, promoting gender equality, supporting transitions from the informal to the formal economy, strengthening South–South and triangular cooperation, and fostering environmental sustainability. This page serves as a hub to guide you to dedicated thematic pages, where you can explore resources, initiatives and examples of how the SSE contributes in each area.
