Guidelines on Developing Training Programmes Based on Labour Market Needs for Viet Nam
As part of the ENHANCE Project – "Strengthening National Capacity to Prevent and Reduce Child Labour in Viet Nam", the International Labour Organization (ILO), in collaboration with relevant national partners, has developed two guidance documents to support the improvement of vocational education quality and strengthen the link between training and the practical needs of the labour market.
The Guidelines on Developing Training Programmes Based on Labour Market Needs were developed to support vocational education and training (VET) institutions in designing and adapting training programmes that align with labour market demand. The aim is to enhance learners’ access to decent and sustainable employment opportunities.
The guidelines were developed through a consultative process involving relevant authorities and technical experts to ensure their relevance, practicality, and applicability within Viet Nam’s VET system.
