Decision concerning the report of the Committee set up to examine the representation alleging non-observance by Argentina of the Indigenous and Tribal Peoples Convention, 1989 (No. 169)

In the light of the conclusions and recommendations set out in the report of the Committee contained in document GB.357/INS/8/3, the Governing Body:

(a) approved the report of the Committee and, in particular, the Committee’s conclusions in paragraphs 44, 48, 49 and 51;

(b) requested the Government of Argentina to provide the Committee of Experts on the Application of Conventions and Recommendations with information on the matters raised in the report and the Committee’s conclusions;

(c) decided to make the report publicly available and to close the representation procedure.
