Decision concerning the results of the ILO Action Plan for Gender Equality 2024–25 and proposed outline of the Action Plan 2026–29

The Governing Body requested the Director-General to:

(a) finalize and implement the ILO Action Plan for Gender Equality 2026–29, based on the guidance provided during the consideration of document GB.356/INS/3;

(b) integrate its guidance in pursuing the ILO’s mandate to achieve gender equality at work through a transformative agenda, taking into account the outcomes of the general discussion on advancing the transformative agenda for gender equality at work to be held by the International Labour Conference at its 114th Session (2026) and the conclusions concerning decent work in the care economy adopted by the Conference at its 112th Session (2024), especially when implementing the ILO’s Strategic Plan for 2026–29 and the corresponding programmes and budgets.
