Results of the ILO Action Plan for Gender Equality 2024–25 and proposed outline of the Action Plan 2026–29

This document summarizes the results of the implementation of the ILO Action Plan for Gender Equality 2022–25 (Action Plan 2022–25) during the period 2024–25, highlighting progress and areas for improvement; the main findings of an independent evaluation of the implementation of the Action Plan 2022–25; and the proposed outline of the Action Plan 2026–29. The Governing Body is invited to provide guidance on the proposed outline of the Action Plan 2026–29. It is further invited to request the Director-General to finalize and implement the Action Plan 2026–29 based on the guidance provided, and to integrate its guidance in pursuing a transformative agenda for gender equality (see the draft decision in paragraph 35).
