Decision concerning the follow-up to the outcome of the Second World Summit for Social Development

The Governing Body:

(a) took note of the report on the Second World Summit for Social Development (Doha, 4-6 November 2025) and the Doha Political Declaration of the "World Social Summit" under the title "the Second World Summit for Social Development";

(b) endorsed the three-pronged strategic approach to the follow-up to the Second World Summit for Social Development, while requesting the Director-General to take account of the views expressed by the Governing Body;

(c) requested the Director-General to report on a biennial basis to the Governing Body on the implementation of the strategic approach to the follow-up to the Second World Summit for Social Development.
