Decision concerning the report of the tripartite Committee set up to examine the representation alleging non-observance by Chile of the Indigenous and Tribal Peoples Convention, 1989 (No. 169)

In the light of the conclusions and recommendations set out in the report of the Committee contained in document GB.355/INS/16/5, the Governing Body:

(a) approved the report of the Committee and, in particular, the conclusions formulated in paragraphs 50 and 55;

(b) requested the Government to provide to the Committee of Experts on the Application of Conventions and Recommendations information on the subjects raised in the report and the Committee’s conclusions;

(c) decided to make the report publicly available and to close the representation procedure.
