Decision concerning the complaint alleging non-observance by Chile of Conventions Nos 87, 98, 135 and 151

As the conditions established in article 26 of the ILO Constitution appeared to be fulfilled, the Governing Body, on the recommendation of its Officers, considered that the complaint was receivable and:

(a) requested the Director-General to transmit the complaint to the Government of Chile, inviting it to communicate its observations on the complaint by 15 January 2026 and to appoint a representative to take part in the proceedings of the Governing Body concerning that matter at its future sessions, as well as informing the Government that the Governing Body would examine the matter at its 356th Session (March 2026);

(b) decided to place the item on the agenda of the 356th Session (March 2026) of the Governing Body.
