As of May 2025, the number of International Investment and Trade Agreement (ITA) referencing the Tripartite declaration of principles concerning multinational enterprise and social policy (MNE Declaration) is 26. Among the trade and investment agreements reviewed by the ILO, the following agreements available online directly mention the ILO MNE Declaration.

In addition, an important number of agreements reference international labour standards as well as the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work (1998) and/or the ILO Declaration on Social Justice for a Fair Globalization (2008).

All references to labour provisions in trade and investment agreements can be found on the ILO Labour Provisions in Trade Agreements Hub.
