Initial evaluation of the functioning of the SRM TWG

Pursuant to paragraph 26 of the terms of reference of the SRM TWG, the Governing Body decided in October 2015 that it would undertake an initial evaluation of the functioning of the SRM TWG by March 2017 [GB.325/LILS/3, para. 5(d)]. At its March 2017 Session, the Governing Body noted information provided by the Officers of the SRM TWG and, in undertaking its initial evaluation of the functioning of the SRM TWG, noted that the SRM TWG had started its work. The Governing Body requested that it continue to be kept informed of the functioning of the SRM TWG so as to allow it to undertake a further evaluation no later than March 2020 [GB.329/LILS/2, para. 3].

Second evaluation of the functioning of the Standards Review Mechanism Tripartite Working Group

Pursuant to paragraph 26 of the terms of reference of the SRM TWG, the Governing Body decided in March 2017 that it would undertake a second evaluation of the functioning of the SRM TWG by March 2020 (GB.329/LILS/2, para. 3). Due to the pandemic, examination by the Governing Body was postponed to the March 2021 session. At its March 2021 Session, the Governing Body noted information provided by the Officers of the SRM TWG and requested that it continue to be kept informed of the functioning of the SRM TWG so as to allow it to undertake a further evaluation no later than March 2022 (GB.341/LILS/5, para. 3).

Third evaluation of the functioning of the Standards Review Mechanism Tripartite Working Group

Pursuant to paragraph 26 of the terms of reference of the SRM TWG, the Governing Body decided in March 2021 that it would undertake a third evaluation of the functioning of the SRM TWG by March 2022 (GB.341/LILS/5, para. 3). At its March 2022 Session, the Governing Body noted information provided by the Officers of the SRM TWG and requested that it continue to be kept informed of the functioning of the SRM TWG so as to allow it to undertake a further evaluation no later than March 2024 (GB.344/LILS/3, para. 3).

Fourth evaluation of the functioning of the Standards Review Mechanism Tripartite Working Group

Pursuant to paragraph 26 of the terms of reference of the SRM TWG, the Governing Body decided in March 2022 that it would undertake a fourth evaluation of the functioning of the SRM TWG by March 2024 (GB.344/LILS/3, para. 3). At its March 2024 Session, the Governing Body noted information provided by the Officers of the SRM TWG and requested that it continue to be kept informed of the functioning of the SRM TWG so as to allow it to undertake a further evaluation no later than March 2026 (GB.350/LILS/3, para. 3).
