Garment sector supply chains in Asia

Online Seminar: How is COVID 19 changing the digital landscape for the textile and garment industry

On 27 October 2020, the ILO’s Decent Work in Garment Supply Chains in Asia, together with the GIZ Fabric Programme, held a webinar to explore how digital tools are reshaping sustainability in the garment and textiles sector. This issue has gained prominence during Covid-19 as physical engagement in the supply chain has been drastically curtailed.

29 October 2020

The event heard from two digital innovators in the sector, one related to worker training and the other to chemical management, and from a regional manufacturer on how digital is transforming their supply chain, as well as asking what further changes might come in the future.
