ILO to release comprehensive new index on how generative AI affects jobs worldwide

GENEVA (ILO News) – The International Labour Organization (ILO) will publish Generative AI and Jobs: A Refined Global Index of Occupational Exposure on Tuesday, 20 May 2025. The index offers a snapshot of how AI could transform occupations and employment across countries, drawing on data, expert validation, and AI-assisted analysis. The report presents the most detailed global assessment to date of how generative AI may reshape the world of work.

The report and all associated materials will be under STRICT EMBARGO until Tuesday 20 May at 08:00 CEST (06:00 GMT).
