Collective bargaining and collaboration at enterprise level in a pluralism context – workshop in Minsk
On 13-14 May Minsk hosted a workshop on Collective bargaining and collaboration at enterprise level in a pluralism context, organized by the ILO with support of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection.

The workshop was opened by Marianna Shchetkina, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Belarus.
The participants discussed legal and practical aspects of collective bargaining and collective agreements in Belarus, as well as trade union activities in a pluralism context in the post-Soviet space. They familiarized themselves with the international labour standards related to collective bargaining, as well as with the appropriate mechanisms in different countries of the world.
Presentations were made by Igor Starovoytov, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection, Kari Tapiola, Special Adviser to the ILO Director-General, Angelika Muller, Labour Law and Social Dialogue Specialist, Governance and Tripartism Department, ILO Geneva, Sergeyus Glovackas, Senior Specialist on Workers’ Activities, ILO DWT/CO Moscow.
The participants developed a draft document entitled “Fundamental principles of collective bargaining at enterprises with several trade union organizations”. The draft is to be finalized and approved by the Social and Labour Legislation Council under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection.
