MODULE 3 – START HERE: Intro & Worksheet

OBJECTIVE:

Start to identify what stories to tell and how you might tell them

While working with story consultants and before final engagement of story tasks

In this module, we are taking the strategic reasoning of sharing stories and connecting it with specific stories.

First, start to identify some stories

The first phase of module 3 is to start to identify a number of story topics that you might explore that could be designed for specific actors. As you identify the potential topics, connect those topics with actors you identified in the previous module and how this story topic might connect with them.

This winnowing process may take a while and might require a number of rounds of brainstorming and evaluating before you settle on a story to develop using the rest of this module.

Once you have identified stories, pick one to complete the module. Repeat for each story.

We ask that you go through each of these questions, individually or working in a collaborative group, and have provided a Word-based template below that you may download and amend as you work your way through the questions. The editable documents are provided to help you record your thoughts as you work your way through the tool and each of the questions aligns with one of the module sections (e.g. 3.4, etc.)

There may be times where you will have to duplicate segments of the editable documents, you may do that by copying and pasting the prompts again where needed.

Each of the sections in this module gives additional information for the questions on the worksheet that you may download above, or preview below. Answer each question on the worksheet as you go through each lesson.
