Informal Economy: what are the challenges for Unions in Philippines?

The transition from informal to formal economy is one of the topics of discussion at the 104th International Labour Conference which is being held from 1st to 13 June 2015 in Geneva. The following is an interview with Susanita Tesiorna, President, Alliance of Workers in the Informal Economy/Sector (ALLWIES-TUCP), who expresses her views on the challenges faced by Unions to organize and protect workers in informal economy in Philippines.
