The second edition of METI’s regional training workshops will focus on the “Investment and Employment” nexus. The Regional Technical Training aims to:
discuss conceptual, methodological, and data issues in analyzing the effects of trade and investment policies on employment in countries of the Southern Mediterranean;
improve institutional capacities to collect, classify and analyze data on trade, investment and employment;
promote the proficiency of specialists in the use of quantitative and qualitative techniques for assessing the impact of trade and investment policies on employment; and
