Social dialogue in the education sector – The continuing challenge

The paper includes a range of case studies to examine how social dialogue has worked in practice in recent years and how it has been used to address education reform or issues emanating from the financial crisis. It concludes with a set of recommendations on how to strengthen social dialogue institutions, which have been developed in consultation with key partners and proposes some appropriate training programmes in social dialogue and consensus-building negotiation techniques.
