Sectoral meetings held in 2025 and proposals for sectoral work in 2026–27

This document addresses the sectoral meetings held in the first half of 2025, including the approval of the policy guidelines for the promotion of decent work in recycling (section I); contains proposals for sectoral meetings to be held in the second and third quarters of 2026 (section II); provides selected highlights of action undertaken by the Office in the follow-up to the outcomes of sectoral meetings (section III); and seeks approval of the proposed joint procedural framework for the revision and adoption of the ILO/UNESCO Recommendation concerning the Status of Teachers (1966) (section IV) and the amendments to Part B of the FAO/IMO/ILO Code of safety for fishermen and fishing vessels, 2005 (section V) (see the draft decision in paragraph 46)
