Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda): Integrated livelihood recovery for super typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) affected communities (Japan Ministry of Foreign Affairs') support to the Philippines' recovery: Final project fact sheet

Through the contribution of the Government of Japan, the International Labour Organization (ILO) immediately worked with the Philippine government and humanitarian partners in providing emergency employment in typhoon affected workers.

The funding support of the Government of Japan Ministry of Foreign Affairs supported the ILO’s efforts to reach the poorest and the most vulnerable of the affected areas. This sustainable approached consisted of four complementary activities which combined offer a pathway to re-establish livelihoods and regain self-reliance.
