Structured according to the articles of the Convention, the Assessment examines the extent to which national frameworks align with its provisions and identifies gaps and opportunities for strengthening protection against violence and harassment in the world of work.

The Assessment was led by the International Labour Organization (ILO) through the Ensuring Decent Work and Reducing Vulnerabilities for Women and Children in the Context of Labour Migration in Southeast Asia (PROTECT) project.

The PROTECT project is funded by the European Union and implemented jointly by the ILO, UN Women, UNICEF and UNODC in Southeast Asia, particularly in Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.
