Super Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) damaged houses and displaced families in the island community of Lakawon in Negros Occidental. Government agencies and the humanitarian community have pledged to construct houses in a five-hectare lot in Barangay Cadiz Viejo that the local government purchased as a resettlement site.
