Satellite Technical and Vocational Training Centre for refugees and host communities in Ethiopia
This factsheet captures the construction of a Satellite TVET Centre by the International Labour Organization in Fafan Zone, Somali Region, to facilitate refugee access to quality market relevant vocational skills training, and to prepare young trainees for the labour market.
The International Labour Organization (ILO), through the PROSPECTS Partnership, constructed a Satellite Technical and Vocational Training Centre in Kebribeyah, Somali Regional State, Ethiopia.
This initiative, supported by the Government of the Netherlands through the PROSPECTS Partnership, aims to enhance skills development for improved labour market opportunities, strengthen decent work in communities affected by forced displacement, and promote self-reliance and economic empowerment for both refugees and host community members.
