Sénoba-Ziguinchor-Mpack road rehabilitation project : Assessment of the perception of impacts by users and households
This report presents the findings of a qualitative survey assessing how users and households perceive the impacts of the rehabilitation of the Sénoba–Ziguinchor–Mpack (RN4) road, the construction of the Kalounayes road, and the development of feeder roads.
Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 62 beneficiaries (40 users and 24 households) across the project area. The results show that the works are widely perceived as improving mobility, safety, and local socio-economic development. However, concerns persist regarding the lack of road safety infrastructure and increased flooding in certain areas.
