Registry of Collective Labour Instruments
The "Mediador" Collective Bargaining System was created to facilitate the drafting, registration and public consultation of collective bargaining instruments in Brazil.
The registration of collective bargaining instruments allows the competent public authorities to follow the evolution of collective bargaining, facilitating the analysis and dissemination of information on collective agreements. It also supports employers and unions in their negotiations and plays an important role in coordinating wage policies. In this context, the measures taken to raise awareness and guarantee stakeholders' access to collective bargaining instruments are important steps towards ensuring compliance with its provisions.
The Mediador System, implemented by Brazil's Ministry of Labour and Employment, offers free online services to constituents and other interested parties for the registration and public consultation of collective agreements, collective bargaining agreements and modifying or additional conditions concluded in all states of the country, disseminating knowledge about collective bargaining.
