By the end of 2025, 22,700 beneficiaries will enter and/or continue to work within the formal job market in Türkiye through KIGEP. The programme consists of 90 percent on-the-job training on specific and technical skills, and 10 percent off-the-job training on fundamental principles and rights at work, as well as adequate measures to ensure inclusivity. Through ISMEP, jobseekers gain access to formal employment, whereas employers benefit from a more qualified workforce. Turkish citizens to the formal labour market and supports them to develop, adapt and strengthen their skills and competences. The project is financed by the Federal Republic of Germany through the KfW Development Bank and implemented by the International Labour Organization (ILO) Office for Türkiye, in coordination with the Ministry of Labour and Social Security.
