National policy on decent work

Identifies the existing weaknesses in the focus areas of Decent Work and sets out policies designed to overcome them, while the National Plan of Action converts policy into action. Together these two documents set out the direction that Sri Lanka needs to take in implementing economic and social development. It is also the point of convergence for other policies on several aspects of decent work, and thus creates a blueprint for action in creating employment, and in ensuring the quality of work and workers’ lives.
