Narrative recap of the development cooperation implementation of the ILO programme in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

This report highlights the International Labour Organization's efforts and achievements in advancing decent work and social justice in Jordan during 2025. It showcases progress in strengthening labour market institutions, expanding social protection, promoting formalization, improving occupational safety and health, advancing skills development, supporting green and employment-intensive investments, and fostering inclusive enterprise development. Through close tripartite collaboration with the Government of Jordan, employers' and workers' organizations, UN and development partners, the ILO helped deliver practical, sustainable reforms that improve the lives of workers and businesses while contributing to Jordan's Economic Modernization Vision (EMV) 2033 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The year also marked a transition towards the Decent Work Country Programme (DWCP) 2026–2027, with 2025 serving as a preparation year to consolidate partnerships, strengthen institutions, and establish the systems needed for its successful implementation.
