Module for guidance and counselling for prevention of the worst forms of child labor and child trafficking for SMP/Package B Students (in Bahasa Indonesia)

ILO commends the Indonesian Teachers’ Association (PGRI) of Sukabumi District Branch which, with full support from the District Office of Education, has developed this teaching module and applied the module in some SMPs in the District.

This work is being undertaken in the District of Sukabumi, West Java, which is the origin of many migrant workers who leave the district to work in other areas within or outside Indonesia. The high rate of migration and other factors such as problems relating to education and unemployment has contributed to the high vulnerability of women and children in the district to trafficking.
