Jordan Country Profile: Productivity growth, diversification, and structural change in the Arab States

This country snapshot starts with a historical overview of Jordan’s labour productivity trends compared with other non-GCC Arab economies and the global economy.1 Subsequently, it provides an overview of the contemporary business environment and prospects in Jordan based on two recent enterprise surveys – the 2019 world Bank (WB) enterprise survey and the 2021 ILO survey on productivity growth, diversification, and structural change.
