Employment Intensive Investment Programme – Phase VI Jordan
Grievance Redressal Mechanism
Between 2022 and 2024 the ILO, with funding from the Federal Republic of Germany through the German Development Bank (KfW), is implementing an Employment Intensive Investment Programme in Jordan - Phase VI that aims to provide short term employment opportunities to refugees and host communities. Besides generating critical income support for families to cope with economic difficulties, the programme aims to help build Social Cohesion, Peace and Stability through green jobs and sustainable projects.
EIIP programme has established a user friendly grievance redressal mechanism for workers and stakeholders. This system ensures timely responses, promotes transparency, and supports the right to information. It also enables management to promptly address and resolve issues.
Since the beginning of the sixth phase, the helpline has received complaints and inquiries in daily basis. It is crucial that the EIIP continues to prioritize effective communication with its stakeholders especially the workers to maintain its positive impact and advance its objectives.
