It covers various aspects of construction, including units of measurement, area and volume calculations, soil types and testing, tools and equipment, setting-out techniques, concrete technology, masonry work, compaction practices, road works, building works, and urban drainage.

Curriculum and Trainer's Guide: Labour-Based Construction Management

This curriculum and trainer's guide outlines a competence program for planners, engineers, technicians, and contractors in labour-based construction management. It includes a generic curriculum with details on rationale, objectives, competencies, learning program, assumed qualifications, certification, performance assessment, and learning materials. The trainer's guide provides instructions on how to prepare for training, apply the curriculum, and plan training courses.
