Key Resources to Strengthen Knowledge and Training in Labour-Based Construction for Planners, Engineers, Technicians, and Contractors
These documents collectively offer resources to enhance labor-based construction management practices. Developed with support from the Government of Netherlands-supported ILO PROSPECTS Partnership, they provide technical guidelines, a competence program, and knowledge modules for planners, engineers, technicians, and contractors in labor-based construction projects.
The resources aim to support the design, formulation, implementation, and evaluation of policies and programs addressing unemployment and underemployment through public and private investment in infrastructure development. They focus on optimizing job creation, building and maintaining quality infrastructure, and utilizing local resources to benefit communities.
