Being self-aware in the midst of a pandemic: Compilation of the nominees and winners’ OSH journalistic works competition
This book is a compilation of the works of journalists who were nominated for 10 print or online categories and 10 nominations for the photo category. The themes range from mental health, implementation of health protocols during a pandemic, to the safety of women workers.
AJI Indonesia in collaboration with the ILO held competitions and media awards for the criteria for reporting and photojournalism related to OSH issues. This activity is open to journalists who work on various media platforms and freelance journalists throughout Indonesia under the theme: “Occupational Safety and Health in the Time of the COVID-19 Pandemic”.
It is hoped that this award can motivate journalists in the country to produce journalistic works related to comprehensive OSH issues. Thus, the issue of OSH can become a conversation in the community, and can further become input for policy makers related to OSH.
