Assessment of the National Employment Agency's policies and procedures

This report presents a comprehensive assessment of Moldova’s active labour market policies, as designed by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection and implemented by the National Employment Agency (NEA) and its territorial offices (TOs). The analysis focused on the ability of mothers from different backgrounds to access and participate in the services provided by NEA and TO, thereby assessing the full employment services journey, from outreach and initial profiling to training or job placement, among many other employment services and measures. At the same time, the analysis also covered the work done by NEA and TOs to support employers, assessing how employment of mothers of young children can be encouraged, both from the point of view of demand (what employers need) and supply (how mothers can contribute).
