Meeting
Tripartite consultation to review the National Quality Apprenticeship Framework
Tripartite stakeholders (government, employers, and trade unions) discussed the implementation of quality apprenticeship in Indonesia.
The Global Accelerator (GA) on Jobs and Social Protection for Just Transition is a joint initiative of the Government of Indonesia and several United Nations agencies that aims to support the achievement of targets in the 2025-2029 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In order to implement GA activities within the scope of Quality Apprenticeship, the ILO in collaboration with the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas and the Ministry of Manpower held a workshop on the theme of quality apprenticeship: regulatory framework and operational guidelines based on the 2023 Quality Apprenticeship Recommendation (no.208) of the ILO Tripartite, on Thursday, 20 March 2025, at the Mercure Gatot Subroto Hotel, Jakarta.
The implementation of quality apprenticeship in Indonesia, its compliance with Recommendation 2023 (no.208), and the aspects that require improvement and enhancement in line with that recommendation were all discussed at the event by the tripartite stakeholders (government, employers, and trade unions).
This event will be followed by in-depth discussions with each of the three parties throughout April - June.
