SafeYouth@Work Communications Planning Workshop
The ILO SafeYouth@Work Project in the Philippines will gather partners in a communication workshop aimed at promoting and raising awareness on safety and health of young workers.
The ILO’s Building a Generation of Safe and Healthy Workers (SafeYouth@Work) Project in the Philippines will convene representatives from government agencies, workers, employers and non-government organizations in a Communications Workshop to promote and raise awareness on safety and health of young workers.
The workshop will feature input sessions from communications resource persons on storylines, social media, events and campaigns, transmedia, marketing and public relations. Through this approach, the workshop hopes to come up with an engaging, immersive, and expansive communications plan on occupational safety and health for young workers for campaigns; and to identify effective strategies for raising awareness and knowledge on occupational safety and health among young workers. The workshop will also draw recommendations on mechanisms to measure performance and results, to determine target audiences, and to identify resources and areas for collaboration.
