Bipartite mechanism
Promoting bipartite mechanisms at enterprise level: Consultation with workers’ and employers’ organizations
Representatives from trade unions, employers’ organisations and management associations participated in a workshop on bipartite workplace consultation and cooperation mechanisms. Participants identified key challenges, shared recommendations and explored opportunities to enhance cooperation and foster harmonious industrial relations through Labour–Management Cooperation (LMC), Grievance Machinery (GM) and Collective Bargaining (CB).
The consultation was organised by the International Labour Organization, through the project 𝑆𝑡𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑔𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐹𝑟𝑒𝑒𝑑𝑜𝑚 𝑜𝑓 𝐴𝑠𝑠𝑜𝑐𝑖𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐴𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝐴𝑔𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑠𝑡 𝐶ℎ𝑖𝑙𝑑 𝐿𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑃ℎ𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑝𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑠, funded by the Government of Canada (Employment and Social Development Canada), in partnership with the National Conciliation and Mediation Board - NCMB (NCMB). The workshop served as a platform for meaningful dialogue among social partners.
