Building Excellent Workforce through Strategic Partnerships with Industry

The ILO under the METI Skills Project is collaborating with Yayasan Matsushita Gobel (YMG) – Matsuhita Gobel Institute to adapt and deliver upskilling and/or reskilling programmes to the workers in Panasonic Gobel and the suppliers in the electronics sectors as well as strengthen the institutional capacities of the National Training Centres providing training to the electronics sector.

Yayasan Matsushita Gobel (YMG) – Matsuhita Gobel Institute will strengthen the capacity of BBPVP Bekasi to responds to the demand skills of the industry through TOT for the instructors on Industrial automation and core work skills including deliver the upskilling/reskilling to Panasonic’s workers and suppliers. In addition, the project is also collaborating with FSPPG (Panasonic Gobel Trade Union Federation – affiliation with SARBUMUSI Confederation) to send their members to be trained in BBPVP Bekasi. Therefore, this launching and signing MOU ceremony is to launch the activities between YMG, FSPPG and BBPVP Bekasi and to support the institution to engage with the electronics industry.
