Since the 1920s, the ILO has been engaged with protecting indigenous peoples' rights around the world. In the Philippines, the ILO's work continues to evolve as we work together with indigenous communities, support the implementation of Indigenous Peoples Rights Act or IPRA, and promote the ratification of the Indigenous and Tribal Peoples Convention, 1989 (No. 169).
