ILO in Kenya
Kenya has been a member of the ILO since 1965. The ILO is devoted to promoting social justice and internationally recognized human and Labour rights, through a decent work agenda.
Through its projects, ILO Kenya has unlocked the green jobs creation potential of Kenya's building construction industry by enhancing the competitiveness of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises as well as exploring the effects of Labour and Labour related laws on small and medium enterprises thus creating a more enabling environment in the medium and small enterprises. ILO has also Improved policy and legal frameworks in place to protect the rights of HIV affected male and female workers and their families.
